With the down turn in the economy, there has been a slow down in many industries. Dentistry has been no exception, especially cosmetic dentistry. There have been many advances and much focus on the cosmetic end of dentistry since the beginning of 2000.
Recently the cosmetic end has slowed down as people are less willing to spend money on these types of services. The focus now seems to be shifting toward patients that NEED crowns. Getting their crowns at cheaper prices with the highest quality available, while still possessing the ability to create nice cosmetic work.
In the dental lab industry it seems there are mainly two kinds of labs; big production and smaller more customized labs.
